Junior Anaiyah Tu’ua racked up 17 factors and also fresher Hannah Stines racked up 16 as the Warriors distressed Bishop Montgomery 66-54 on the first night of the Troy Classic.
Junior Gaby Tan included 12 points for the Warriors (4-2), that ended up second at the La Jolla Nation Day Sweet 16 Invitational on Saturday.
Troy is rated 16th in Division 1 while Diocesan Montgomery is third behind No. 1 Sierra Canyon and Windward.
“Our women played difficult and together versus a truly good team,” Troy instructor Roger Anderson claimed. “Anaiyah’s management with our young team in valuable.”
